Harley Benton Wah Wah
« on: May 21, 2015, 04:29:38 AM »
Anyone tried one of these?

If it is a metal enclosure (like a Dunlop) then it is a bargain at 41.

Thinking it could make a good donor enclosure to house my weener wah...

Loads of wah's on eBay turn up for much less than that.  If you want new you can find the Vox 845 for similar money.  Someone would probably buy the guts of the Vox wah as well

Isn't Harley Benton basically a rebranding of stuff made by Jo-Yo? On behalf of Thomann?

for my wah builds i bought second hand crybabys for 20-30
41 pound is not a bargain when you just need the enclosure...
i recommend searching ob ebay or some online marketplace for used wahs

btw: uk-electronic sells now wah shells for 30 too

You can't go wrong buying a used crybaby on ebay, I look for broken ones for sale really cheap. With crybabys you know what you are getting and there is at least a chance you can reuse the pot, inductor etc, who knows what the quality is like inside one of those.

Fair does and fair points.
