Welcome Bruce, (speaking from experience) forgive your dad for not reading up on the "Powder Coating" tutorial!  Please don't eat the orange "chicklets".  Finally, the big hot pen is not for writing on the wall.  :)

I have a 12 year old M version & a 2.5 year old F version.  Both make some amazing sounds & have needed a resolder or two.
