Kraken Oscillation Issue
« on: August 22, 2023, 01:58:37 PM »
Iíve just finished up a Kraken/Mudbunny/Paralyzer combo that works a treat except for the hi setting on the Kraken. Worked fine till I boxed it up and only oscillated with the range all the way up. Now if I have enough volume in the guitar to start getting a decent quack it immediately goes into oscillation and I have to turn the range all the way down to stop it. I have all the controls at noon. Stock build with the manual BOM. Works fine on the lo setting.

Edit: I did try paralleling a resistor with R4 to bring it to 270R and a cap with C6 (across pin 6,7) to bring it up to 2n2 per another builder who had oscillation issues. Made no difference really other than changing the pitch of the whine.

Fixed it. I had went over everything, but missed R3 should be 10k and not 100k. Swapped it out and itís all good.
