1N34A germanium diode

I'm looking for a reliable 1N34A germanium diode replacement to use on the Low Rider analogue octave down project. I did some search and perhaps the BAT46 would work well on this design?

I am looking for something that is readily available.

BAT41 have a slightly higher forward voltage than 1n34a. You might try BAT46 instead.
