Switch Wiring for Cupcake
« on: March 20, 2012, 04:04:12 PM »
I'm a noob, so apologies if this is a silly question.  I'm going to attempt to build the Cupcake Compressor.  My question is about wiring the switch.  The schematics for the Cupcake don't show how to wire the switch to the circuit board, jacks, power, led, etc.  i know some schematics show switch wiring.  Is there some generic schematic I can use or the schematic for another pedal (if so, which pedal schematic)?

Sorry, I just found the schematic.

Great question - you should check out this link!

http://www.madbeanpedals.com/tutorials/downloads/StandardWiring_MBP.pdf

Everything you need to know is there. You can get to it by going to the projects page on the website, then following the link in the top right corner of the screen.

That's awesome,I just ordered  cve dweller  "kit" for lack of better word and realized the same thing. No foot switch diagram. I'm glad you can only be a noob once. ;D
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.
