MBR160 diode substitution
« on: May 03, 2012, 11:04:56 AM »
Hi, Im planning to do a DMM (not madbeans one, this with 4 mn3008 http://www.youngpedals.com/Deluxe_Micro_Man_Rev_A.pdf) I have all components except the 4 MBR160 diodes. There is any diode i can use instead of MBR160?

Im placing 2 orders (Banzai and tayda) and none of the two stores have this particular diode (seems to be obsolete)

Ive found some variants from mouser (MBR160G, MBR160LG) Could someone tell me the diferences between them and the original?

Thanks

Edit: Seems to Banzai has MBR160 in stock but not listed in their website.

I would think that 1N60P would be a decent sub. Seems to have very similar characteristics.
