Anything unique about a reverse log pot aside from the taper?

In my anxious rush to order parts for my Krankosaurus and Serendipity builds, I managed to forget quite a few things, including a second 5K reverse taper pot.  Would using a 5K pot with a normal linear taper change anything about the pedal aside from said pot adding instead of removing when turned (or vice versa)?  Thanks.

I think you're misunderstanding how pots work.

A 5k linear pot will be fine.

Eh, I won't argue with that.

Good to know that it will work though.

I refer to this webpage pretty regularly: http://sound.westhost.com/pots.htm#markings

It describes different pot tapers, shows a nice graph illustrating Log and anti-log (reverse) tapers versus linear.

I agree that linear will be fine. I hope that helps.
