hahaha! thanks dudes! It was so funny when I saw her howling like that. I definitely worried the first time thinking, "Oh man! I'm probably playing too loud for her!" Then I lowered the volume a lot and she still howled! So I thought there's no way I'm hurting her ears with this. That's when I found that article and thought, well, let's have some fun Panda! haha She's really cool.

Corey, certainly didn't mean to "troll" it up. Sorry you're in such defense against macs. Frankly, I don't give a crap what brand computer can give me a simple OS to use, something I don't have to constantly be on top of if with Anti-everything or else the computer would explode on me, and the software is a lot cheaper than other OS's.

Unfortunately, Mac is the one who gives me all that. If Windows can make a computer like that heck! I'll jump on it! Specially since a Windows computer is much cheaper. I do like Windows 7 though. I think they got it right this time. Vista was just terrible.

Anyways, Lacesensor, I really hope you can get your data back man. I've been there before and I know how much it really makes you feel like you wanna grab a bat and beat the crap out of you computer. The Linux idea is really good. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes man! And yes, once you save all of your data, get a Mac (sorry Corey) haha!

I know this may sound stupid, but check that you're plugging your guitar to the input and not the output on the board. Silly as it is...it happens and can produce similar symptoms.

Looking at your video again, I'm 95% sure your problem is that you need to isolate the back of your pots from the board...

That sounds like a nice ground problem to me hehe

The first thing I assume you checked, are any of the pots touching anything on the solder side of the board? That may be causing some of your signals to go to ground, causing it to be low in volume and will cause that buzzing as well.

Check all your ground paths, from your board out to your hardware (pots, switches and jacks).

That's just the first things that popped into my head for now

We'll figure it out!
