Interesting, I remember being surprised when this one came out because most of the others in the series were straightforward clones. Seemed like a departure for EHX. Think it came out with the Soul Food and the East River (a tube-screamer), and there were 3-4 others as well if I recall. I'd be surprised if it wasn't heavily based on something else honestly.

I personally don't think so. The Soul Food (Klon), East River (tubescreamer), Glove (OCD), Satisfaction (Jordan bosstone) etc. were all released around 2013-2014. The Ripped speaker fuzz came out in 2021, around the same time as the Mainframe (bit crusher), Eddy (Chorus), Nano Pulsar and Nano DMM, and Inteligent Harmony Machine (harmonizer)— those all seem to be original designs (or nano versions of their older original circuits) with in the nano XO series of pedals, which leads me to believe the Ripped Speaker is original as well. The last XO nano sized pedal that was a blatant clone was the Flatiron fuzz (Rat) in 2018, and even that was sandwiched between mostly original effects like the Mod11, Nano Battalion, Ocean's 11, and nano operation overlord. I think EHX has mostly moved away from clone designs in the past 5-6 years, and re-focused on new designs.

Totally stand corrected. For some reason I thought this one came out at the same time.

Dude! That is awesome. I was just thinking about this yesterday actually. It's really awesome of you to do that!

Are you thinking series or parallel?

Also what all options do you want? Each channel on its own and both together?

Just remembered about the mod taggboard added to the depeofundis

Worked pretty well for me

You will have to have some kind of mixer or blender circuit in there to make it work with one output. You could probably use something like the ROG Split 'n Blend. You wouldn't even need the split part, just the last half.

The Bass Paralooper on tagboard would work as well.

I've never taken a deep dive into it, but I do recall seeing this a while back:

Best of luck!

Awesome looking build! Did she handprint the lettering as well? Those are some skills.

I use a Bear Hug most of the time, it's pretty subtle and works well on bass in my experience. But if I were you I might wait until Brian comes out with the new Oracle compressor. I used to use a boss comp on bass and really liked it.

Did you see the new Kenobi trailer?

Looks good to me, can't wait.

I've very much enjoyed Mando and Boba Fett, high hopes that the shows continue being good.

That trailer looks great and I am hoping they take cues from the comics.

I always wondered about the star wars comics. Got any recommendations?

Just a heads up, a bunch of the graphic novels are on sale for a buck or two each on the Kindle format on amazon right now. And if you've never tried it reading newer comics on kindle, on an iPad or something, is actually pretty awesome. You can bring up everything panel by panel and blow through stuff.

I've got marvel unlimited, so I've already got access to all of them. I read comics digitally every day

Nice, how is it? I've thought about it a couple of times but never pulled the trigger. Much like building I never seem to find enough time to read.

Nicely done. Really like the video style. Watched the drone synth one as well. It was excellent.

It seems like the Ukraine drive is over at Reverb.  There are no more links to it from the main site.
I'm not seeing anything either. I thought that the campaign was going through the 15th? Matthew mentioned that there are some pending builds.

Those Reverb event pedals sold fast!  The last one is gone now.  I wish Reverb would keep the listings on the page with a "SOLD" banner on them so folks could easily see what type of things we offered up.
Definitely agree with you here.

They are going to the 15th. I have mentioned to them I might add a couple of other things. I think that most if not all of everything they had has sold, which is probably why they took it down.

I read some of the new Marvel Star Wars series that I think ran concurrently with those Darth Vader issues. Probably the first 4-5 graphic novels worth. It's really solid stuff, take's place in the same era and does a great job of capturing the feel of those original movies. The stories just fit right in. Dr. Aphra is pretty cool character, I haven't read her series yet, but I like what they did with her in the Vader books.
