No they are wired correctly. Can you be more specific?

Also - I re-soldered the jack as suggested. Still no sound/same issue. This is so frustrating! Its such a small board but seemed like it was going to be fun.

Thank you very much for the advice!

Yes. My soldering job this time around was atrocious. I realize this now. Thanks for the tip I'll give it a shot first thing tomorrow and hope for the best.

Hello,

I'm new to pedal building. This is my second build so be gentle! My first pedal was the Woodstork21 which I completed with no issues. Now, I'm building a BCF and here's the run down:

All components installed
I did the following mods per the build PDF:
More fuzz - change fuzz pot to 2kB.
More squish - change Squish to 1MB.
More volume - change 470R resistor to 820R.
I used  2 2n3904 silicon transistors

Plugged in, I get sound when the pedal is OFF. When I engage the pedal, the LED comes on but no sound.
I checked all my connections and I can't figure it out.
What do?

How Do I? Beginner's Paradise. / Art Templates for 1590B?

Hello!
I'm building a Woodstork and going to have Tayda UV print an enclosure for me. Problem is... there is no place on their site for templates! I see them for drilling but NOT art!

Thanks! Tayda it is!

Hello! I'm building a pedal that fits into a 1590B enclosure and have a great image I want to use for it. Is there a company that will do one off printing or anything of the sort?

Thanks!

General Questions / Building a Woodstork Fuzz But...
November 13, 2022, 02:56:59 AM
Hello all! First post.

I'm going to build a Woodstork fuzz and plan to use it to get some really ignorant, sputtery, bias tweaking tones.  Any advice on how to get it as non musical sounding as possible? I like the external bias knob and I hope it will act in a similar fashion as the one on the DOD Carcosa Fuzz. I see that that Woodstork has an internal trim as well. Could this be the key?
Thanks in advance!
Mike/M.S.
