« on: June 12, 2016, 06:31:24 PM »
how about :
a green bean and a red llama(camel toe)
a distortion or fuzz with a green ringer
a treble boost and a fuzz face
2 mini boosters with the option to stack them
a boost and an overdrive
a fuzz and a phase 45
so many options...

Headphone amps sound like the way to go:
Easy to store
No speaker enclosures to build
Ear buds or low end headphones are a lot cheaper than speakers

If you do have any standouts, cross that bridge when you have to.

How many are you thinking about making?

Yes the Creamy Dreamer switch will work. Wire it like 3 spdt switching between resisters and jumpers. You can try C10 on a switch to do a scooped-flat-boosted mids thing. I'll check my notes for some values.

I've never heard of it, but that doesn't mean much. Don't you usually need Gerber files to get boards fabbed?

I'd be in on something like this. Do you think Ice-9 would share the files needed to get some fabbed?

Let me see...

Dylan's Self Portrait
Some Phish from the latest tour

Who knows what next week's playlist will be, I just got Rory Gallagher's Deuce in the mail. And I saw some Savoy Brown and Thin Lizzy CDs I haven't listened to in a while.

Got it working. I tried an AC128 I had and everything was fine. I had the first one I tried marked as 80 - 100 hfe perhaps it isn't.

Thanks guys. The pot is cranked all the way, I used the values from the build doc. I first tried it with a low gain si pnp then the ge pnp same deal with both. Next step is to triple check all the component values.

I built my first Rangemaster and something seems off. When it is on I have less than unity gain, is this normal?

Thanks, I had seen it on some schematics, but was brain-locked on how to implement it.

Very nice. How did you wire the input blend pot?

For your question about pots check out BevisAudio(   A picture is worth a thousand words.

Yes the 100R in 100 ohms. The R is used to clarify that it is ohms and not a forgotten M or K you also may see E used  instead of R.

100n(nanofarads) is .1mf or uf. mf and uf both denote microfarads. If you need one pm me your address and I can mail you one.

Good luck with your build.
