Here's madbean's Danger Zone in 1590b with a lectric-fx 3pdt pcb (aka the Thripidity).
I finally broke down and tried my hand at etching an enclosure for the 1st time.  I found that it was a bit different than working with copper clad and I got what I consider to be a good bit of pitting.  I learned some things, so perhaps my next enclosure etch will show an improvement.  Whenever that may be...
Anyway, I've always told everyone else who tried these that one of the cool things about enclosure etches is that they even look cool when they are a bit grungy.  So here's my filthy grunge, please enjoy :)

Thanks man!
I haven't played it much at all yet other than to make sure everything works correctly, but it seems like it would be a very decent drive to me.  I think it's supposed to be similar to a Blackstone Appliance mosfet drive, but going from memory, my Mysterioso Jr. might have had a tad more OD on tap (not 100% sure about that).  I'm sure there would be enough range of tones to please most people.

thanks
i found the reaction with aluminum/ferric is a bit more intense than copper/muriatic.  good luck with your endeavors.

Looks fantastic, man. Love it. The guts are insanely tidy, too.

Wow! That looks good man. Even the grunge.

That looks so good! Not that I'd expect anything less from you.  :)

Really like this one. Makes me want to try etching again.

Looks wonderful, even if it wasn't your first attempt at etching.

If Keefe is able to describe himself as a n00b etcher, the rest of us have no show of ever getting it down!
