Is it too self confident to drill and paint an enclosure before the PCB and components arrive?
Can anybody guess what circuit will go in this?
Updates will follow (even if it does NOT fit in there :-))

Rockhorst

Well...You can always put a double TS808 in it :)

But than it should be more  greenish than purpleish

Nah, I drilled out a Tight Metal a couple of months ago... still haven't finished the pcb yet !My guess,  King of Tone.

Thanks for giving me hope ;-)

And of course, King of Tone is correct. Actually, a rullywow Queen of Bone. I just wished, the top row of pots would be evenly spread on the PCB like on the original. I can be a nitpicker sometimes ;-)

Alan - can you please stop pointing me to pedals I did not know before?  :D :D :D

Damn, that looks like a great pedal, I guess I have to build that one after the KOT.

Lovetone FTW.

OK OK ... did someone ever design a PCB for that monster?

I don't know if there's a PCB for it, but I do know there's an etch.

I believe alanp's oshpark has both the cheese source and the wobulator

That's a really great pedal. I built one of these last year and it barely leaves my board. If you went by the drill template in the build document, the hole positions will be fine. I had no problem with mine.

Not at all.  If you're painting and decaling, drying time can be significant.  Especially if you're air drying.
I'm currently working on a few enclosures and also getting ready to order parts/components.  I like having the enclosure
all ready to go when I'm done populating the PCB.   Cuts down on the clutter.

I see you suffer from the same condition as I do...I received a lot of random color boxes from PPP a few weeks back. Every kind of green in there and I go "but I don't want to build a tubescreamer"...We should let go of associating green with (just) a TS...but it's hard to do ;)

Here is some inspiration for your green enclosures  :)
