But a solo isn't a gift for her. It's a chance for you to show off.

It is her gift to you, then that's cool.

But if it is not: serenade her with a love song on the acoustic guitar, and save the shredding for later.

Not sure about its context within a wedding, but the Hotel California is a personal favorite of mine and I play it on all gear I try and damn near every day for the joy that it brings me.

Just about any Dark Side of the Moon Gilmour solo is classic for a reason as well.  

Most of the music I play and listen to these days does not incorporate the epic guitar solo like they did in the old days, so excuse my stereotypical choices.  ;D
