The drama of PCE / the curse of the Klon

I know some of you have been following the TGP drama regarding PCE and it's "Aluminum Falcon" Klon clone. It's been brewing for months, but the wheels are really coming off the wagon now.

It seemingly took Finnegan years to get the new Klon together, with multiple broken promises on availability and shipping dates. And now it seems PCE is having the same issue (or something that manifests with similar symptoms).

Is there a Klon curse?  ;D

I've got 5 left. £100 each. Can ship tomorrow ;-)

They're out there if people want them and have no issues with Klones :-) Admittedly, I'm not doing any more once these are gone. I'm bored titless with it all now. Surely everyone has one by now who wants one?

No, there is not. To continue in the vibe of "The other Klon thread": There is a stuck up, arrogant bastards curse!  ;)

I haven't been following the PCE stuff that closely, but it seems like yet another builder trying to get into the industry without any real idea of how to run a manufacturing operation, even a small one.

Possibly an honest person (I don't know) who is just in way over their head.  The main problem usually seems to be collecting money upfront and not communicating delays.  People can be very forgiving if you just come clean with them, but if the communication shuts off, they seem to assume the worst.

Starting any business requires some capital (either personal investment or external investors).  Using customers deposits as start-up capital is where things often seem to go wrong.

Yes sir. You really can't start any sort of serious business without operating capital.

Haha, that was almost my exact initial impression. Yep, it's a circuit board.
