I promised B Tremblay I would build one and provide sound samples, but I have shaky hands due to meds.
There is a good bit of love for this one.  You never have too many muffs.

I was thinking surround the fan mounted led with a piece of plastic  with ascending and decending circle cutouts to allow differing amounts of light to reach a detector surround array, slightly mimicing a rotating speaker effect [probably more doppleresque in conjunction with a vibrato for frequency modulation).
A cutout similar to this:
I explained an effect idea using crop circles.   :D I could call it the aluminum hat.

Why couldn't this be implemented in to a leslie sim.  Use the tremolo for the bottom speaker simulator and a second one with something blocking portions of the light detectors for the horn simuator.  You only block portions of the detector to simulate the doppler effect of the horn.  Or you could place the led on a horizontal fan blade to simuate the rotating horn and adjust the volume of the different photo detectors around the fan to simulate the doppler sound.

Am I making any senes? :) :)

That will be very welcome, indeed.  Klonkiller!  ::)
I think you would have very positive reaction from a board for the Distortion Master also.  Was it the
DS-830?
Schem is on FSB, or I have it in my stash, if needed.

You need to use the net tool for making connections in the schematic.  Not the wire tool.

Josh
Even with the correct tool I have trouble making all my connections in Eagle.  I just have to put in some woodshed hours and LEARN IT.

I loved TY Tabor's solo album.  Great power chord pop.  I have been playing "It's Love" to my kids in Algebra class this semester.  They think it is some unknown new band.

The Lab Series amp was great but weighed 700 lbs and I am still freaked out by how complex the schems are.  There was one in a local musi store for almost 10 years that I played through regularly.  It was cool to know it was one flavor of the King's X guitar sound.

Satin Muff.  There it is!  type-o is perfect.

My wife always asks me if I made another of those vagina drives (my BMP nickname).

It would be really hard to go wrong with either the ROG English Channel or Matchbox.  They both get into that Foo Fighter territory really well.  THe Matchbox will be smoother.

I just received prescription to drink as much beer as I can stand until Monday.  Kidney Stone day10.
Irony is I HATE beer.  Man this sucks.
I told my wife to buy something good like Shiner Bock or Yuengling.  She came home with Michelob Ultra with Lime.   This room feels like a scene from "Misery".  Oh honey drink your delicious beer so you can feel better.  Sledgehammer forbodes in the corner.

guitar pcb link specifically says germanium.  I do not believe it is intentionally deceptive, if it is inaccurate.  Two years ago I bought real NOS 1n34 germaniums for $0.35 each.  That was the best price I could find online at the time so I bought 100 and stocked up.  Maybe a llifetime supply.  It is funny perhaps I will buy germanium diodes, but purposefully avoid ge transistors.  I do not like crap shoots.  My builds are crappy enough without the parts being another weak spot.
The sound is what matters.  Should be my mantra.

Have a good one everybody.

Just received 100 1n60p diodes from tayda.  I figured if they are workalikes, so be it.
I agree with midwayfair.  LOOK like run of the mill silicons.

But on another note:
This is a link to guitarpcb advertising 1n60p germanium diodes for $2.25/10 pack.
http://www.guitarpcb.com/apps/webstore/products/show/3276935

Not too bad maybe, but the photo
Looks exactly like the 1n60p from Tayda.  I understand they are probably generic diode picture stock.

Great graphics.  Reminds me of the night I was probed by the Air Force.  God I love this country.
