glorious build. Really nice colour fading and the etch is top notch once more.
Cheers Felix!

I'm in love with this enclosure! What did you do to get the color gradient? I'm assuming the design is then etched, yes?
Thanks! Itís etched with the design in reverse so the etched part is raised rather than recessed if that makes sense? Then I used three different spray cans to do the fade, itís a bit of trial and error but you start heavy and slightly lift off by tilting the cab up to create a fade, then do the next colour and so on the blend them together. Then sand it back to reveal the design. Hope that helps!

Latest off the blocks is a request from a mate, itís an SFT with one half of a Super Duper 2 in 1 (so an SHO with a volume control). Includes an order switch and charge pump toggle. Lots of shades of dirt available on tap, I love the SFT and these extra bells and whistles worked really well I must say!

Being honest though this build was a nightmare, all of my own doing! You know those ones where nothing seems to go right?! Just poor planning on my part as well as numerous other mess ups! I persevered though and glad to have it done as well as being pleased with the end result despite weeks of frustration!

Anyway, some pictures!

This is awesome man, great job! Would love to hear what that sounds like!

Iím considering building a pedal with a parallel blend, basically I want to do a ĎSoundgarden Superunknown in a boxí by blending a Marshall circuit (PAL JCM 800) with a Mesa Rectifier one (Triple Wreck), as Chris Cornell used that set up on the record. Do you think an approach similar to yours would work? Just wondered whether it would all turn to mush or be a usable pedal.

Nice job! Modding some SMD stuff can be really challenging.
Love the multicolored etch.

Cheers!  8) Thankfully the mod didn't require any changes to any of the SMD stuff, just desoldering pots and rewiring, still it was nerve wracking nonetheless! Won't be doing that again any time soon!  ;D

Quite proud of this one so thought I would share with you guys..

Its a modded Micro POG ( which I thought I would give a new box job while I was in there!

The mod is really useful for me as I mainly use two settings on this pedal when playing live so the channel switch swaps between the two rows of pots, effectively giving you two presets. I'd seen the JHS mod and a few other similar ones so decided to see if it was DIY-able and turned out to be the case! I can't say I enjoyed the process all that much, lots of nerve wracking desoldering, wondering if I'd destroyed the thing and then a boat load of fiddly wiring for the actual mod. To say I was relieved when it worked first time is an understatement!

Etched with NaOH/Caustic Soda/Lye and painted, really happy with how it came out in the end.

These are amazing! Love the look of the Savant compressor! Maybe I need to get into this laser business and stop messing around with 'orrible chemicals!
