Anyone have one of these knobs, or a pedal that uses them?  I'm just curious about the size (maybe up against a 1510 or MXR?)... 

I've contacted Daier for a datasheet/drawing but they apparently can't provide one for this one.   

It looks like some sort of Davies clone but I can't figure out which one.

Anyone familiar with an NPN SMD transistor with the marking "1RM" ?

I'll ship a free PCB to whoever identifies it first.

Could someone show me the type of envelope/mailer Madbean uses to ship a PCB internationally?

I've managed to pull it off with bubble mailers in the past but never felt very confident about them....  I have a small handful of boards to ship overseas and was curious what the best method would be.

Peter from VFE Pedals is releasing the schematics to all of his Standard Series pedals to the public.    I'm working with him to help get them cleaned up and unified.

Has anyone here had any screen printing done by Mammoth lately?

I'm planning to get a batch of 10 enclosures and want to know what others think of the quality of work?

Finally got around to building my MXR Distortion II clone...   I know, I know, I shouldn't have used the MXR name but I wanted "authentic" cosmetics.   

This one is true bypass, runs on 9-18VDC, and has In/Out jacks on opposite sides (vs same side like original)

Ideally I'd like to work up an etchable layout for this one, it's currently built on stripboard and I'm not extremely enthused about that.

Has anyone else seen this!?

When the DeadRinger is in Comp Cut mode are the Flat Mids components supposed to be active?

Does anyone know if the 1590A enclosures coming from Tayda are a different size from all others?

None of the 1590A drilling templates I have printed seem to fit the enclosure properly, it seems mine is about 1/2" taller than the template.   I've tried several, including the Madbean Sprout template.   

I can wrap the template around and make it work, but it doesn't fit like the templates for other enclosures have.  Am I missing something?

I know this is a rather tough subject to "explain", varies from project to project, and is more of an acquired skill, but does anyone here know of any good tutorials or videos on the subject of PCB layout and component placement?

I'm not referring to technically operating the software itself, but possibly some tips/tricks to finding good placement of the components?

I've picked up some useful info/pointers from various members but was wondering if there were any "tutorials" similar in quality to Jacobs videos on learning Eagle?

I'm considering grabbing a copy of RG Keens book "PCB Layout for Musical Effects"...
