After.  Lately, I populate all resistors w/ PCB clamped in vice, top solder, flip, bottom solder, then snip.

Live the graphics Jimmilee! This reminds me that I need to buy an 18v adapter to see if all the ICs I replaced in mine actually did any good! Re: enclosures flying across the room: I havenít had that issue since I purchased a decent stepped drill bit.  Itís a real game changer.  It makes hand drilling a breeze! Iirc I went with an Irwin and itís going strong after 2-3 years of abuse.
No kidding? I bet you sooner have to change bits for the different holes too. How quickly do they wear out?

One bit will cover everything in a pedal and Iím still waiting to see how long they take to wear out after 2-3 years.

Beautiful and well thought out Lee!  ThE wiring looks great too.  Iím guessing that was a LOT of fun! And the ďButt KickĒ PCB is hilarious! 😂

I was hoping to have this one done for the BOTY but I ran out of time waiting on a supplies order.  Hopefully this is the first on many build reports in 2020. Happy new year everyone!

You can get them for $10 a piece on Amazon with free shipping (4 left in stock).  It also looks like Angela Instruments carries them as well as a PPP and few others per the google.  I donít think you can beat $10 for a Hammond 1590B2 right now though. Not sure about workalikes but that may be the ticket if you want to get the price down.

@ masondixon:  your inquiry seems a bit vague and Iím thinking a little more info might be helpful for those in your area who may l consider helping you out.  Are you starting a business or do you just need someone to build you some pedals for your board?  Is this a service you are looking to pay for or are you just looking for someone do do it for free?  Do you need a builder? PCB or circuit design? If Iím totally honest, your ďavid builderĒ statement gives me pause.  We are all avid builders with varying skill levels.  My hope is that your not here to get something for nothing (or close to). Also, if you are starting a business, farming out builds to hobbyists is not a sustainable long term solution IMO.  Please donít take this the wrong way as my intent is not to be rude.  I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your endeavor!

General Questions / Re: Original Aqua Puss 9V vs 15V
« on: November 18, 2019, 11:04:56 PM »
Iíve built a handful of AP clones and ran at 9v and 15v.  I honestly canít tell a difference. In order to run at 15v you do have to change the value of a couple of resistors too so Iím guessing that the WayHuge AP needs to be modded to run properly at 15v.  Someone may prove me wrong though.

Itís a great tool. Especially if you print your graphics with bleed lines and cut them out with ruler and exacting knife. It looks totally pro.
